Attitude for gratitude

As the year comes to an end, we all will be counting our achievements and things we haven’t achieved yet. It’s always great to be grateful for the things we already have because we are a step further than we have been months back.

Below are somethings to be grateful for

* Be grateful for life

Your been alive is enough reason for you to show gratitude. Many people saw the beginning of this year but they were not opportune to see the last month

* Be grateful for health

Have you recently been to the hospital to see the different kind of ailments people are suffering from?. If you have been there you will definitely have reasons to be grateful for the good health you have.

* Be grateful for shelter

* Be grateful for friends and family

* Be grateful for the opportunities you have had

There are many things one can be grateful for and I have listed a few above. Below are some of the things I am grateful for

My gratitude

I am grateful for the opportunities I have had, I am grateful for the life that I live, for the roof over my head, I am grateful for my friends and family. I am grateful for everything I have, I am grateful for where I am now though I am not where I want to be but I am definitely not where I used to be ( I’ve made a lot of progress and I am grateful for it)

I am grateful for all my past experience, those experience have shaped me into becoming a better me. They have become a guide and lessons to be learnt.

Never say yes to a man without praying first and talking to your mother or father. Don’t be in a hurry to get married. If you rush in, you may rush out with a lot of injuries or be forced to stay in with sorrow and deep regret!

Discover Your Purpose in before marriage. And be ready to be a helper and not a competitor or judge of your husband to be.Go To School Or Learn a trade. Don’t wait for a man before you start living. Add value to yourself and leave a godly life.

Don’t run after a man because of his money, cars connection, position, talent, or family background. Marry a man base on his vision, godly character, the conviction of the Holy Spirit and Love. Material things and beauty are temporal.

Develop a healthy eating and cooking habit.Don’t be too fat that single men begin to think you are married. Take the better side, a woman who doesn’t like to cook, will always have something missing no matter how many chefs she could hire. It takes discipline to do that.

Dress well: First Impression counts.Don’t expose any of your private parts or sensitive body spots for men to see otherwise you might only attract a player or bandit but not a responsible man.

Don’t beg or force a man to marry you, no matter how much you love him. It is better for you to take time to influence him to love through kind gestures and food but no sex before marriage. If after two years, he is still not proposing marriage, you need to forget about him. You are too precious don’t cheapen yourself. And don’t try to hook and keep a guy with sex or unwanted pregnancy. Many ladies who do that end up in shame and regrets if God doesn’t come in to transform the man.

Your character and prayer life will determine the health of your marriage. It makes a man want to spend the rest of his life with you. So Work on your character. Beauty is not everything. If it is all you have, you’ll lose your place to someone more beautiful and more matured than you.

Never fail to learn how to cook good food. Men usually love a woman who feed them with good food because one of the easiest way to a man’s heart is through good food.

Never fail to read at least 2 books about marriage and family before your wedding.The marriage you don’t prepare for will confuse you when you get there. Attend marriage seminar and premarital counselling before marriage.

Never fail To Give Your Life to Christ and be active in the faith before Marriage.

A Marriage Without Christ Is Bound To Experience Marital Crisis.

Note: don’t rush into marriage because you got pregnant or because you feel all your friends are getting married.

Get married because you are ready to make the sacrifices involved.

Seeking happiness

One of the most important things I have learnt so far is how to appreciate myself, no matter what other people think of me, the only person that can make and keep me happy is me.
No one can do that better than you. Seeking the happiness, the joy, the peace, the laughter, you can only find all this by yourself, no other person can do that for you. Wondering why I said that, it’s simply because it’s up to you to choose whether you want to be happy or not.

One might have some encounters that would seem or would try to take all the serene and happiness you need but these encounters cannot choose for you what you truly deserve. You have to make the decision of doing anything possible to remain happy.
Most times our experiences(either good or bad) seem to control our emotions, yeah the bad emotions makes you feel you are done for, that you deserve nothing good and that’s the lie most people settle for, they just give up on themselves just because they have been through some bad experiences.
Do you know that most people experience worst things than many of us? yet they are happy you won’t even think they have had bad days in their lives, this is what I’m talking about these set of people refuse to remain down casted yes they did and that’s because most of them won’t give up on themselves, some got encouraged, some had no one to encourage and support them, some discovered they are worth much more.

Take the bold step, rise with your head straight, rise with confidence, rise without fear of failure for failure itself is a lesson to be learnt.
Decide and choose to be happy, we all deserve so much more.
Become a better you, you are great and perfect the way you are.
• Cheers to you.

Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.

Don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great.
Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you’ll be able to see farther.
It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.

You should never let your fears prevent you from doing what you know is right.
